A fire damaged a single-family home and a construction site in Avalon, NJ on consecutive days.

A fire broke out in a single-family home on 4th Avenue in Avalon, NJ, early Wednesday morning, with firefighters controlling the blaze in about an hour. The fire, which was documented on social media, significantly damaged the structure. Earlier, on Tuesday night, a three-story house under construction also caught fire, taking firefighters approximately 75 minutes to manage, with assistance from nearby towns. Crews remained on-site to address lingering hot spots.
