The Garda investigation into the murder of Eddie Hutch, brother of crime leader Gerry Hutch, has progressed since his shooting in Dublin in 2016. His death ignited a feud between the Hutch and Kinahan gangs, resulting in 18 fatalities. Daniel Kinahan, son of drug boss Christy Kinahan Senior, is identified as a suspect. A file on the case has been forwarded to the Director of Public Prosecutions, with the inquest adjourned until March 19, 2025.
