The Bloomington City Council has extended on-street parking limits in downtown from 90 minutes to two hours to support local businesses. Additionally, the city plans to enhance collection methods for over $350,000 in unpaid parking tickets, including towing vehicles with five or more violations. A proposal to designate Holy Trinity Catholic Church as a historic landmark was postponed due to zoning concerns and estimated repair costs.
