Nintendo and The Pokémon Company sue Palworld developer Pocketpair for patent infringement in Tokyo.

Nintendo, alongside The Pokémon Company, has filed a patent infringement lawsuit against Pocketpair, the developer of the game Palworld, in Tokyo District Court. The suit, submitted on September 18, claims Palworld infringes multiple patents and seeks both an injunction and compensation for damages. Palworld, which resembles Pokémon and has gained popularity, has yet to receive a response from Pocketpair. Nintendo aims to protect its intellectual property rights.
