The Asheville Police Department is asking for public help to identify a heavy-set Black female suspect in an armed robbery at a convenience store on Swannanoa River Road. The woman, dressed in all black, entered the store with a handgun, forced the clerk down, and stole cash before fleeing in a white SUV heading east.
