A police officer and a robbery suspect were injured in a shooting in Fountain, Colorado, following a Walgreens robbery where the suspect threatened employees with a gun and bomb. After stealing items, he fled to a Lowe's and then a Chase Bank, where police shot him when he did not comply. The suspect was hospitalized with serious injuries, while the officer suffered minor injuries. Both officers are on paid leave as the Colorado Springs Police investigate. Witnesses are asked to provide information.
