Abigail Bradshaw, the current deputy director-general of Australia's Australian Signals Directorate (ASD), has been appointed as the new director-general, succeeding Rachel Noble. Bradshaw, also head of the national cybersecurity agency, is praised for her expertise in national security and cybersecurity. She will start on September 6 and continue ASD's focus on supporting the Australian Defence Force, collecting foreign signals intelligence, conducting cyber offensives, and protecting Australians from cyber threats.
