Slidell police are investigating a deadly car theft attempt on Aug 24th. One suspect was killed, two teenagers, aged 17, were arrested, and one remains at large. The suspects allegedly planned to steal cars, leading to an exchange of gunfire with a car owner during an attempted theft. Two arrested suspects face pending murder and attempted murder charges.
