34 visually stunning carts and drivers participated in the 2024 Accrington Soapbox Challenge on Church Street, racing along Blackburn Road. The event, held early Saturday morning, featured a Delorean-themed cart based on "Back to the Future," driven by BBC Radio Lancashire's Graham Liver, who dressed as Doc Brown. The North Lancs Training Group built the cart with a real Delorean for photo opportunities.
