26-year-old Kyle Benjamin Douglas Calvert, an Alabama man accused of Antifa sympathies, has pleaded guilty to detonating a homemade explosive device filled with nails outside the Alabama Attorney General's Office in Montgomery on February 24. Calvert, who had previously posted Antifa content on social media and expressed support for violence against the government, has denied having any formal affiliation with Antifa. The device, constructed by Calvert himself, caused no injuries or property damage. Calvert faces a minimum sentence of five years and a maximum of 20 years in prison with no possibility of parole.
