The family of Samantha Woll, a Detroit Jewish leader and political activist, remains hopeful for another trial after a judge dropped a felony murder charge against accused murderer Michael Jackson-Bolanos, due to a US Supreme Court precedent. Jackson-Bolanos was found not guilty of first-degree murder, convicted of lying to police, and deadlocked on two charges: felony murder and home invasion. The prosecution plans to appeal the ruling to the Michigan Court of Appeals.
