7-year-old Elsie Dot Stancombe honored at colorful funeral following Southport knife attack.

7-year-old Elsie Dot Stancombe, tragically killed in a knife attack in Southport, was honored at a vibrant funeral service titled "Elsie's Special Day." Held at St John's Church in Birkdale, near Southport, the service featured a horse-drawn carriage, a blue cuddly toy on the coffin, and pink ribbons and balloons adorning the church. Elsie's family asked mourners to wear bright colors in celebration of her life, and her cheerleading group, Vortex Cheer, formed a guard of honor for the coffin. The funeral marked the final of the funerals for the victims of the Southport knife attack, which also claimed the lives of Alice da Silva Aguiar, 9, and Bebe King, 6.
