67-year-old John Thomas from Augusta died on August 20th from injuries sustained in a car crash on August 10th at the intersection of Peach Orchard and Tobacco Roads. Thomas was transported to Wellstar/MCG Hospital, where he initially received treatment, before ultimately passing away. The Richmond County Sheriff's Office is investigating the accident.
