16-year-old identical twins, Marveille and Armaine Cuanico, achieved the same average grade in their GCSE results at St Anne's Catholic School in Southampton, amid a third consecutive year of falling scores. Meanwhile, Ella and Nina Patel from St Edmund's Catholic Academy in Wolverhampton also achieved near-identical results. Three sets of twins at Newcastle's North East Dame Allan's schools earned remarkable GCSE results, with 44% of awarded grades being 9s.
