IIT couple highlights 10 key differences between life in India and the US after returning.
IIT couple Nayrhit and Rishita Das shared 10 significant differences between life in India and the US after returning to India. Key observations included the ease and affordability of domestic help in India, more unpredictable traffic in India compared to the US, India's superior digital infrastructure for quick commerce and delivery services, easier formation of meaningful relationships in India compared to the US, India's digital payment systems having an advantage over the US, with UPI being free and government-backed, chaotic queues and lines in India compared to the orderly queues in the US, enjoyment of Indian cuisine over the variety and quality of cheese, bread, and desserts available in the US, more outdoor activity options in the US, limited societal acceptance of LGBTQ communities in India compared to the US, and finding a job in India may be easier, but securing a high-paying position similar to the US is more challenging.
