The exemption applies to assessment years 2024-2025 to 2028-2029, with conditions that UIDAI doesn't engage in commercial activities and maintains consistent activities and income sources. This tax relief was issued by the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) under the Ministry of Finance.
