South Korea and Turkey renewed their bilateral currency swap deal for an additional three years, allowing for up to $2 billion in local currencies exchange between their central banks. First signed in 2021, the deal aims to boost bilateral trade and financial cooperation. The agreement will be effective for three years from August 12th, with an option for extension by mutual agreement.
