Vietnam unveiled its first National Action Plan on Women, Peace, and Security during a workshop in Da Nang, co-organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and UN Women. The plan focuses on women's participation, gender-based violence response, integrating gender perspectives in relief and recovery efforts, and international cooperation, and aims to be implemented from 2024 to 2030. Vietnam is committed to protecting women's roles in building and consolidating national peace and security and has been an active advocate for the Women, Peace, and Security agenda internationally.
