Pakistan PML-N Senator Irfan-ul-Haque Siddiqui resigned from the Senate's Standing Committee on Federal Education and Professional Training after an incident involving inappropriate behavior from fellow lawmaker Senator Bushra Anjum Butt. The dispute was resolved after Butt apologized to Siddiqui; as a result, Siddiqui and fellow PML-N Senator Rahat Jamali swapped their memberships of different standing committees. Siddiqui now serves on the National Health Committee, while Jamali takes on Siddiqui's previous responsibilities in the Senate's Standing Committee on National Health Services and Coordination.
