Japan's industrial output decreased 3.6% in June, mainly due to the automobile sector.

Japan's industrial output fell 3.6% in June compared to May, due to decreased production in the transport equipment industry, particularly in the automobile sector. The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry reported that all 15 surveyed sectors experienced a decline in output. However, the Ministry forecasts a growth in output for July and August based on a poll of manufacturers.
