India's swimming campaign at the Paris Olympics ended with Dhinidhi Desinghu and Srihari Nataraj failing to reach the semifinals of their respective events. Nataraj finished 33rd in the 100m men's backstroke event with a time of 55.01s, while 14-year-old Desinghu finished 23rd in the 200m women's freestyle event with a time of 2:06.96. Both athletes needed top-16 finishes to advance to the semifinals.
