Spanish police seized 4 tons of cocaine concealed in rice sacks at Barcelona's port, dismantling a crime network operating in Spain, Paraguay, and Britain. The drug smugglers processed the cocaine in Paraguay and concealed it in plastic bags inside sacks of rice. In addition to the Barcelona seizure, authorities in Paraguay and Britain confiscated another 5 tons in separate raids. Two suspects, including the alleged ringleader, were arrested in Paraguay.
