Serial rapist Calvin Dumas was arrested in June after being positively identified through familial DNA for sexual assaults committed between 1995 and 1998 in Jacksonville. State Attorney Melissa Nelson called him a "dangerous serial rapist" who targeted single mothers, holding them at knifepoint as he raped them. Through DNA evidence, investigators linked Dumas to rape cases in 1995, 1996, and 1998.
