Google CEO Sundar Pichai and his wife Anjali were honored with an honorary Doctor of Science and Distinguished Alumnus Award respectively by IIT Kharagpur. The awards were presented at a ceremony in San Francisco. Pichai expressed gratitude towards his alma mater for shaping his journey, stating that his education and access to technology at IIT put him on the path to Google and helped more people access technology.
