Rogers Communications Inc. reported a 255% Q2 profit increase to $394 million, partly due to lower restructuring and acquisition costs related to Shaw Communications acquisition. Profit amounted to 73 cents per diluted share, up from 20 cents a year earlier. Q2 revenue reached $5.09 billion, up 1% from the previous year, driven by growth in its wireless and media businesses. The company's mobile phone average monthly revenue per user rose 0.79% to $57.24.
