5-year-old Gunner Lewis-Vale, diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder in 2021, received a life-changing stem cell transplant from umbilical cord blood donated in 2008. The stem cells were stored at -150C until a match was found. The successful transplant allowed Gunner to leave his home for the first time in six months, and his parents now hope to enjoy summer activities together.
