Rivian, an electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer, has opened a new charging station in Groveland, California, near Yosemite National Park. The station, called Yosemite Outpost, serves as a charging hub for Rivian owners and offers amenities, education on EV charging, and a recycling collection point. While initially limited to Rivian vehicles, the company plans to accommodate non-Rivian EVs in the future. The charging station will also be solar-powered and net-zero.
