2024 Paris Olympic Village to use 14,250 cardboard beds made from fully recycled materials, aiming to make the Games the "most responsible and sustainable" in history. After the event, bed frames and mattresses will be recycled, and pillows donated to schools and organizations. Cardboard beds were also introduced at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, with organizers committed to their environmental goals.
