Firefighters from multiple departments managed to control a fire that erupted in hog fuel piles & a dump site at Harmac Pacific's pulp mill in Nanaimo, BC. The blaze started in the mill's bark mulch hog fuel piles in Cedar around 5 p.m. Firefighters brought the fire under control, but the site may continue smoldering for an unspecified length of time.
