2024 Gulbenkian Prize for Humanity awarded to Andhra Pradesh's Community Managed Natural Farming for its organic farming model and climate action contributions.

Andhra Pradesh's Community Managed Natural Farming (APCNF) has won the prestigious Gulbenkian Prize for Humanity 2024, sharing the €1 million prize with Dr. Rattan Lal, a renowned soil scientist from the USA, and SEKEM, an Egyptian network promoting biodynamic farming. The APCNF program, led by the Government of Andhra Pradesh, has transformed 5 lakh acres into organic farmlands between 2016 and 2019. The award recognizes the APCNF's "groundbreaking zero-budget natural farming model" and contributions to climate action and sustainable agriculture.
