Malaysia has studied all implications before expressing its intention to join BRICS, says Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim. The country's priority is strengthening trade and the economy, as well as expanding its economic network to benefit the nation and its people. Anwar said that Malaysia's good relations with BRICS member countries make it possible for the country to become a "partner country" before its participation is finalised.
