Curator Adrian Burnett leaves New Annual festival to become Carriageworks head of programming.

Adrian Burnett, curator and producer of New Annual festival in Newcastle, announces his departure to take up the role of head of programming for Carriageworks, a creative hub in Redfern. Despite transitioning to his new role on August 1, Burnett will oversee the delivery of the New Annual festival running from September 27 to October 6. His new position was not expected to involve him in New Annual festival long-term.
