Metallica's James Hetfield loans six custom vintage Fords and Lincolns to Kearney museum from the Petersen Automotive Museum in LA. Hetfield, a heavy metal artist, personally supervised the vehicles' customization and wants them to "always be traveling, just like a band". The cars arrived last week and will remain on the showroom floor for one year before being replaced with new car displays.
