Comoros President inaugurates completed $30m African Development Bank-funded road connecting Moroni to agriculturally rich region & tourist towns.

Comorians celebrate completion of a $30m road financed by African Development Bank, connecting the capital Moroni to the southeast's agriculturally rich region and popular tourist towns. The 49.2-km National Road 2 (RN2) section was inaugurated by Union of the Comoros' President Azali Assoumani and African Development Bank Group President Dr Akinwumi Adesina. The road improvement significantly enhances the country's transportation infrastructure.
