A single-vehicle crash in South Surrey at 2:20 a.m. on July 6 sent a driver to hospital with possible life-threatening injuries. The collision occurred on 32nd Avenue Diversion off Highway 99, causing traffic lights to stop functioning due to damage to a hydro box. 32nd Avenue is closed in both east and west directions and is expected to be shut down for a considerable period.
