A study from Brigham and Women's Hospital reveals that military women and female family members, particularly those serving during periods of heightened combat deployments (2006-2013), face significantly higher risks of chronic pain. This risk was even higher for those of lower socioeconomic status and mental illness. Results of the study were published in JAMA Network Open.
