Jewish community condemns treatment of rabbi Tory candidate at mosque in Prestwich, Greater Manchester. Rabbi Arnold Saunders, a Conservative Party candidate in the Bury South constituency, was invited by Muslim elders to speak after prayers at Masjid Bilal mosque. However, he was abused by some attendees and left without speaking. The Board of Deputies of British Jews expressed disgust and urged those concerned about democracy to speak out.
