Saudi Aramco signs $25B contracts for Jafurah gas field expansion and main gas network, increasing Saudi's gas production capacity.
Saudi Aramco, the state oil company of Saudi Arabia, signed $25B contracts for Jafurah gas field and main gas network expansion. Jafurah, the largest unconventional non-oil associated gas field, will add 2B standard cubic feet of sales gas per day by 2030, strengthening Saudi's gas production. The main gas network expansion will involve 4,000 km of new pipelines, boosting capacity to 3.2B standard cubic feet per day and connecting additional cities.
