Activist investor Jana Partners, known for pushing for sales of other companies, has built a stake in cybersecurity firm Rapid7 and is urging the company to consider a sale, according to a person familiar with the matter. Rapid7's stock price increased by more than 8% after the news. Jana Partners managing partner Scott Ostfeld discussed the investment at an investment conference in Monaco.
