US women have saved only a third of men's retirement savings, potentially causing a crisis for female retirees.
A Prudential Financial survey showed that US women have saved only a third of the amount men have set aside for retirement, potentially causing a crisis for female retirees. Men have saved a median of $157,000, while women have only saved $50,000.
