16-year-old Honciuc Menendez from Ecuador will become the University of Toronto's youngest graduate since 1979, having earned a specialist degree in physics and a major in mathematics. Menendez, who began his education at age four, has an interest in quantum information and high-energy physics. He plans to pursue a master's degree in quantum science and technology with a full scholarship from the European Union.
