South Africa's new Government of National Unity (GNU) includes five parties: the African National Congress (ANC), Democratic Alliance (DA), Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP), Patriotic Alliance (PA), and GOOD. These parties collectively hold more than two-thirds of the seats in the National Assembly. The GNU aims to promote rapid, inclusive, and sustainable economic growth, job creation, land reform, and infrastructure development. Further negotiations with other parties are ongoing.
