India and the US have pledged to strengthen defense and technology cooperation and remove long-standing barriers to bilateral strategic trade, following a meeting between the national security advisers of both countries. The two nations plan to collaborate on critical emerging technologies such as semiconductor production, artificial intelligence, and clean energy. They also agreed to launch a strategic semiconductor partnership to co-develop semiconductor design and manufacturing processes for precision-guided ammunition. In addition, the countries are working together to ensure a reliable supply of critical minerals for clean energy technologies and other industries.
