They didn't always see eye-to-eye during their past rivalry, but Triple H expressed his happiness to have Punk back and to see the change in him. He acknowledged that past issues may have been misunderstood, but he always believed in the potential of the Phil Brooks he sees today. The two men have since buried the hatchet upon Punk's return to WWE.
