Western Australia's opposition leader, Shane Love, has urged the state government and industry regulator to investigate residential construction company Nicheliving, amid allegations of up to 500 unfinished homes and unpaid contractors. Affected homeowner Kathy Ellis, who signed a contract with Nicheliving in 2020, has been living in a camper trailer without heating for over 3½ years while her home remains unfinished. Love describes the situation as an "unfolding disaster" in the state's residential construction industry.
