National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) finds poor maintenance as the probable cause of Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office helicopter crash near Las Vegas, NM, on July 16, 2022, that killed all four crew members. Fatigue-related starter-generator input gear failure led to driveshaft shearing, accessory gearbox seizure, and loss of engine power.
