Revenue officials in Ireland seized nearly €400,000 worth of Nitrous Oxide canisters in Dublin, originating from Germany. The consignment was intended for an address in Dundalk and while Nitrous Oxide has legitimate uses in the catering industry, Revenue can detain and seize psychoactive substances if there are reasonable grounds to believe the goods are not intended for legitimate purposes. The investigation is ongoing.
