A man in a wheelchair was struck and killed by a train in Vicksburg Tuesday morning, after getting his wheelchair stuck on the tracks. The incident occurred on North Richardson Street around 11:00 a.m. and remains under investigation by the Vicksburg Police Department, with assistance from the Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Office. Railroad crossings in the area were temporarily closed following the accident.
