Malaysia and Singapore are accelerating efforts to resolve outstanding issues, including the water agreement and maritime boundary delimitation, according to PM Anwar Ibrahim. Both nations are also close to finalizing plans for a special economic zone in Malaysia's southern Johor state, which seeks to boost trade and connectivity between the two neighbors. Additionally, discussions are ongoing for the Rapid Transit System (RTS) and the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone (SEZ).
