Grammy-nominated percussionist Sheila E. was denied entry to Paisley Park on Prince's 66th birthday.
Sheila E., a Grammy-nominated percussionist and Prince collaborator, shared on Instagram that she was turned away from Paisley Park, now a museum, when she tried to visit unannounced on what would have been Prince's 66th birthday. Sheila said she was hurt by the denial and expressed that it "won't take away the joy that he and I had together" at the studio in suburban Minneapolis. She added that it was "not a nice way to celebrate his birthday."
